mott's needed a way to rapidly grow their number of facebook fans. we knew that a high number of the existing mott's facebook fans were moms - we also knew that these moms had been asking Mott's for more coupons via facebook posts.
we combined these two research points and created a coupon application whereby users had to get their friends to join the mott's facebook page in exchange for a high value coupon.
the campaign brought in 45,000 new "likers" to the mott's facebook page, a 350% increase in total Mott's "likes".
